Anger Foot, on the other hand, doesn’t have much of a plot, but it never feels like that was its intent. Both Hotline Miami and Katana Zero are also longer games, and each offers an extensive plot and characters. Although the attacks are limited to only two, the game’s pace is so fast that it’s enough to keep you on your toes. Some will fire at you with uzis or handguns (which you can afterward loot off their bodies), others come at you with a baseball bat or pipe. They’re odd bipedal animal archetypes wearing street clothes like hoodies and jeans. There’s not much variety in the types of enemies faced in Anger Foot. Every level is replayable, and players can post their best times. While the game is short, with only ten levels of encounters, the real challenge is trying to beat your old times and scores. Your foot also doesn’t rely on ammunition to work. It eliminates enemies in a single hit and sends projectiles like doors and explosive barrels flying. Kicking in Anger Foot is the best option. Explosive barrels aren’t guaranteed to be in each room, and the game’s guns only house one clip’s worth of bullets that run out quickly and must be replaced upon emptying. The game’s design, however, places a much higher priority on properly executing kicks. Skilled players will be able to shoot or kick explosive barrels into groups of enemies for multi-kills.
